Earlier, McDonald's has been sued for many things like making coffee too hot, making people fat, using glass as an ingredient in their chicken sandwiches and there are things that McDonald should be sued for, but haven't been.
This time a McDonald's customer is suing the fast food restaurant for $1.5million because he was given only one napkin with his meal. Actually, on 29th January Webster Lucas after ordering a Quarter Pounder Deluxe went up to the counter to ask for more napkins, he was rudely refused and mistreated by the manager at the Mickey D's in Pacoima, California.
A Mexican-American manager insisted that Lucas had already got some, then African-American Lucas said, "I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn't come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat." Afterwards, the employee, a Mexican-American man, mumbled something that sounded like “you people.”
Later, this small argument over napkin caught heat and Lucas believes that he was racially discriminated against by the manager. That's the reason, he is now unable to work because of the 'undue mental anguish' and 'emotional distress' caused by the incident.
Due to all that he accused the Mexican-American manager to be racist and has launched the lawsuit on the basis of the dispute. Though, many attempts made by the food chain for settling down the matter, but all went in vain as Lucas is only in mood of accepting the compensation of $1.5million.
